SLABS
Information
A complete floor and ceiling solution offering significant weight reduction, exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation, and superior fire resistance.
Description
BSCO AAC Slabs are precast Autoclaved Aerated Concrete panels used for roofing and intermediate flooring as an alternative to traditional concrete slabs
They are characterized by light weight, high durability, and dimensional accuracy, in addition to superior thermal and acoustic insulation that significantly enhances building efficiency and comfort
These slabs are manufactured using autoclave technology, with internal reinforcement and precise heat treatment, making them an excellent solution for residential, commercial, and industrial construction
Fields of Application
- Intermediate floors in residential buildings
- Ceilings for schools and hospitals
- Raised or mezzanine floors
- Commercial and industrial roofing
- Rapid construction projects (Prefab)
- Buildings with high thermal and acoustic insulation requirements
Advantages
Extremely Lightweight: Significantly reduces loads on columns and beams
Superior Thermal Insulation: Improves HVAC efficiency and cuts energy costs
Excellent Acoustic Insulation: Reduces noise transmission between floors
High Fire Resistance: Up to 6.4 hours of fire rating
Faster and Cleaner Installation: Less site waste and quicker setup than conventional ceilings
High Dimensional Accuracy: $\pm3 \text{ mm}$ tolerance provides a ready-to-finish surface
Reduced Structural Cost: Lower loads decrease the required amount of rebar and concrete in the structure
Moisture and Pest Resistance: Not affected by insects or mold
Eco-Friendly: Environmentally sound with low emissions
