Fields of Application

Application
Surface Prep
- Substrate must be clean, dry, and sound — moisture content <5%
- Remove dust, grease, and previous loose coatings
- Prime with BSCO Primer for dusty, porous, or gypsum surfaces
- Repair cracks or defects with BSCO Putty 100 or 200
- Cement-based plaster: cure minimum 28 days; mechanically prepare surface
- Coated substrates: remove chalking, lightly sand, wash, allow to dry
Mixing
- Product ready to use stir well before application
- First coat: dilute 10–15% with clean water
- Second coat: dilute 5–10% with clean water
- Avoid over-thinning may affect hiding power and adhesion
Application
- Apply one or two coats using roller, brush, or airless sprayer
- Maintain recoat interval of 3–4 hours at 25°C/50% RH
- Coverage: 6–8 m²/kg per coat (depends on surface absorption)
- Protect freshly painted surfaces from direct sunlight or dust until fully dry
- Do not apply at surface temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C
Cleaning
Clean tools and equipment using clean water immediately after use. Dried material can only be removed mechanically.
