Fields of Application

Application

  1. Surface Prep

    - Substrate must be clean, dry, stable, and free from contaminants

    - Cured cementitious surfaces should be at least 28 days old

    - Prime porous or dusty surfaces using BSCO Primer

    - Patch and fill cracks with BSCO Putty 100 or 200 before application

    - Coated substrates: brush down chalking, lightly sand, wash, and dry

    - Surface moisture content: <5%

  2. Mixing

    - Product ready to use — stir well before application

    - First coat: dilute 10–15% with clean water

    - Second coat: dilute 5–10% with clean water

    - Avoid excessive thinning to preserve opacity and weather resistance

  3. Application

    - Apply two coats using brush, roller, or airless spray

    - Maintain recoat interval of 3–4 hours at 25°C/50% RH

    - Coverage: 6–8 m²/kg per coat

    - Avoid application under direct sun, strong wind, or rain

    - Do not apply on very cold (<5°C) or very hot (>35°C) surfaces

  4. Cleaning

    Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Dried paint can only be removed mechanically.
