Application
Surface Prep
- Ensure substrate is dry, clean, sound, and fully cured
- Remove dust, oils, contaminants, and loose particles
- Prime new or absorbent substrates with BSCO Primer
- Surface moisture content: <5%
- New cement plaster: cure minimum 28 days; mechanically prepare surface; smooth with BSCO Putty 100/200; apply one coat of TopCoat 700 before TC 800
- Coated substrates: remove chalking, sand lightly, wash, apply BSCO Primer, optionally apply BSCO Putty 100/200, then apply one coat of TopCoat 700
Mixing
- Product ready to use stir well before application
- First coat: dilute 5–10% with clean water
- Second coat: apply without dilution (undiluted)
- Do not over-thin affects gloss level and opacity
Application
- Apply in 2 coats using roller, brush, or airless spray
- Maintain recoat interval of 4–6 hours at 25°C/50% RH
- Coverage: 6–8 m²/kg per coat
- Avoid application in direct sun, strong wind, or rain
- Do not apply at surface temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C
Cleaning
Clean tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Dried paint can only be removed mechanically.
