Description

"BSCO Aquafix is a high-performance cementitious tile adhesive formulated for superior bonding in wet areas. Classified as C2TES1 according to EN 12004 and ISO 13007, it is enhanced with special additives to improve adhesion, slip resistance, and extended open time.Supplied as a dry powder, BSCO Aquafix only requires the addition of water on-site. It is ideal for installing ceramic, porcelain, and mosaic tiles in swimming pools, bathrooms, kitchens, and other moisture-exposed surfacesand substrates with moderate movement where a rigid adhesive would fail"

Application

Surface Prep
✓ Suitable for large-format porcelain tiles, natural stone, marble, granite, and ceramic tiles
✓ Applicable on concrete slabs, screeds, cement boards, fibre-cement sheets, and existing tiled surfaces
✓ Compatible with electric and hot-water underfloor heating systems and façades
✓ Used in swimming pools, spa areas, terraces, industrial kitchens, wet rooms, and areas exposed to movement or vibration
Mixing
1- Pour 5 – 4 liters of clean water into a mixing container
2- Gradually add the 20 kg of Aqua fix powder
3- Mix using a low-speed electric mixer until a smooth, lump-free paste is achieved
4- Let rest 5 minutes, then remix briefly
Application
Apply with a notched trowel suitable for tile size and substrate then Fix tiles within 30 minutes of spreading and Adjust tiles within 20 minutes; do not disturb tiles after initial setting
Clean
Clean tools and mixing containers with water then immediately after use. Dried material can only be removed by mechanical methods
