BSCO CERAFIX provides good workability and bond strength for fixing ceramic and mosaic tiles on concrete or plastered surfaces in dry and humid internal environments.
Description
Cerafix C1 is a standard cement-based tile adhesive classified as C1 according to EN 12004 / ISO 13007-1, designed for general-purpose use on internal wall and floor tiling. It is composed of high-quality cement, selected aggregates, and performance-enhancing additives.
Fields of Application
✓ Fixing of: Ceramic tiles, mosaics, and clay tiles
✓On Substrates: Concrete, cement screed, plastered blocks, and levelling coats
✓At Areas:Internal walls and floors only Dry and moderately humid rooms.

Application
Surface Preparation
• Surface must be:
• Clean, dry, sound, and free of dust, oil, and grease
• Damp down hot or absorbent surfaces (no standing water)
• Use Aqua Bond or SBR no 1 on absorbent or dusty substrates
Mixing
1. Add 4-4.5 litres of clean water into a clean container
2. Slowly add 20 kg Cerafix powder while mixing
3. Use a mechanical mixer until a smooth, homogeneous, lump-free paste is obtained
4. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes, then remix briefly
Application
Apply using a notched trowel appropriate for tile size
Lay tiles within 20 minutes of spreading adhesive
Adjust tile position within 15 minutes
Cleaning
Tools and equipment are cleaned with water immediately after use. After hardening, the material can only be removed mechanically.
